State of the Union: June 2005
We are bogged down in Iraq, the war is losing a lot of popularity in the polls. Mr. Bush has decided not to create a timetable for American withdrawl from the region, and we are doomed to be there for years.I seem to recall that during his push for war he was adamant in saying there would not be any "nationbuilding." I can't believe he would ever lie!
Overall America seems to be struggling along. People are surviving the aftermath of a brutal election and feeling the pain of a single party dominated federal government.
I will be posting hopefully every month with my latest quick thoughts and feelings on our current state of this country, since apparently I am one of the minority who disdain this administration's antics.
