Voting Fraud

Slashdot.org had an interesting article about numerous voting anomalies in Florida, New Mexico, and Ohio. Amazing that a country like the United States simply accepts the possibility of voter fraud without much of a fight. How is that democracy?

I'd like to support some voting standardization at the federal level. Create a paper trail, double and triple check machines, etc.

How about having a states electoral votes be proportionate to the total vote a candidate receives, instead of the winner take all system? Seems much more fair to me and allows voters in traditionally republican or democratic states to have their votes count exponentially more(assuming the above voter fraud is handled.)

Here are some goals:

Creating federal voting standards.
Modifying the electoral college

Objective: Get back our country!

Hello fellow Americans,

This is my first post in what I hope to be a cry to arms, a call to get America to come together and reclaim the nation that is rightfully ours from a political system that is corrupt and outdated. This is not an indictment of Republicans or Democrats, but an indictment of our inadequate bi-party system. This is a cry for choice, for freedom. This is a call to revolution.

During this time, a time of war, uncertainty, and economic crisis, we need to show our leaders in Washington that we will not be silent. We will do WHATEVER is necessary to insure that our country does not continue the downward spiral that we find ourselves in after decades of inequality and stomping on our constitutional rights. We want our individual voices to be heard by abolishing the electoral college. We want to stop deficit spending. We want to insure that any person who wants a job can readily find one. We want to stop the unchecked aggression of our leaders in Washington towards weaker nations while more prominent threats go untouched. We want our country back, and we will stop at nothing until we have accomplished this.
