State of the Union: June 2005

We are bogged down in Iraq, the war is losing a lot of popularity in the polls. Mr. Bush has decided not to create a timetable for American withdrawl from the region, and we are doomed to be there for years.

I seem to recall that during his push for war he was adamant in saying there would not be any "nationbuilding." I can't believe he would ever lie!

Overall America seems to be struggling along. People are surviving the aftermath of a brutal election and feeling the pain of a single party dominated federal government.

I will be posting hopefully every month with my latest quick thoughts and feelings on our current state of this country, since apparently I am one of the minority who disdain this administration's antics.
